Immediate Attention Required: It's crucial to receive and open your live shipment right away. Avoid leaving the package in extreme weather conditions, as this can be harmful to the dinoflagellates.

International Orders: For orders outside the USA, customers are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and VATs. These must be paid before delivery. Please note that delays or non-payment of these fees can affect the health of your dinoflagellates.

Longevity and Care: With proper care, dinoflagellates can thrive for up to one month in the pouch. Maintaining appropriate lighting and stable temperatures is key to their health.

Proper Care:

  • Lighting:

    • Maintain a balanced cycle of 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness daily. Keep them in partial sunlight or artificial room light—avoid direct sunlight, as it can be too intense.

  • Temperature:

    • The ideal temperature range is 68°F (20°C), but they can thrive between 55°F and 85°F (13°C to 30°C). Ensure stable temperatures to avoid stressing the dinoflagellates.
